Taking the Qingni river as the research object, the water environment factors including water temperature, pH, DO （dissolved oxygen） and COD （chemical oxygen demand） were assessmented by single factor and comprehensive pollution index. The results showed that the whole river reach of Qingni river was polluted moderately, and the highest blowdown point was the No.4 sewage discharge outlet, and its comprehensive pollution index reached 82.20, which showed that the sample point was polluted mostly.
