英文摘要：

In this article, inventions patent are considered to represent the innovation ability and the total amount of investment by foreign-invested enterprises are taken as the foreign direct investment （FDI） . Both of which are used to analyze the impact of foreign direct investment on innovation capability of China＇s 30 provinces. The results showed FDI has no significant effect on innovation capability of China＇s 30 provinces when it was examined independently, while after integrating with China＇ s own Research and Development （R＆D） investment and patent marketization, it plays a significant role in promoting our domestic innovation capability. The result shows that the increase of innovation abilities relies on our own R＆D investment and system building.
