By establishing an evaluation index system, an empirical research is conducted to explore the relation- ship of ＂industrialization, urbanization and agricultural modernization＂ based on the principal components analy- sis and cointegation analysis. Jilin Province is the study target in this research. The result indicates that there is a long-term equilibrium relationship between ＂urbanization＂ and ＂industrialization＂, between ＂industrialization and agricultural modernization＂ and between ＂urbanization and agricultural modernization＇. The development of agricultural modernization is divorced from the development of urbanization and industrialization. Agricultural modernization has a lagging effect on industrialization, which will show up 4 years later. Agricultural moderniza- tion plays an unclear role in urbanization. Meanwhile, industrialization and urbanization can not provide effective support for the development of agricultural modernization.
