Based on improved fuzzy--AHP, a certain vehicle was evaluated and the weights of subjective evaluation indexes were obtained through real vehicle evaluation test. Cooperated with the weights and the subjective evaluation the overall performance results were obtained. The results show that the proposed method can provide a scientific reference for the vehicle designer to control the structure parameters of the vehicle, making it be suitable {or driving and enough active safety.
