In this article, the origin, evolution and development process of reading therapies were reviewed and summarized briefly. According to the historical sequence, the main ideas and typical cases of reading therapies in the past dynasties were summarized and combed. This article also discussed and studied the main ideas, academic thoughts, and development condition of reading therapies, and compared and analyzed the application, development, and research of Chinese and foreign reading therapies.
