山口红树林生态自然保护区是我国大陆海岸红树林面积最大、代表性最强的红树林区域。加入世界生物圈保护区网络10年来，遵循生物圈保护区管理模式的要求，无论在保护、科研监测、教育培训方面的资源持续利用和生态旅游都做了大量工作。笔者利用参与山口红树林生态自然保护区10年工作评估的机会，简略探讨其所取得的工作成就和现存的问题，并提出一些建议，供有关方面参考。
英文摘要：
The Shankou mangrove reserve is a mangrove region of having largest area and most representative types in the continental seashore of our country. Since ten years of acceding to the World Biosphere Reserve Net Work, it made a great deals of work whether conservation, scientific research and monitoring, education and training or sustainable use of resources and ecotourism according to the requirement of biosphere reserve management model. We use the opportunity of attending evaluation of its 10 years work, simply dealing with its working achievements and extant problems and proposing some suggestions for reference of related aspects.
