Embodied philosophy,as the foundation of modern cognitive science,has a profound impact on language education. In this paper,we resort to embodied philosophy,together with CBI,as theoretical basis for optimizing the curriculum of College English.The purpose of practicing the ＂2＋2＋X＋C curriculum system is to benefit the reform of College English and enhance its teaching method.
