Three coastal resorts as Yalong Bay, Dadong hai, Haipo, with different morphology, have come into being in Sanya, Hainan Province, which is the only tropical coastal city in China, Based on the scrutiny of the morphology of each resort, the paper finds out that resort morphology and planning should be coincided with specific location and function of resorts.
