Knowledge transfer in industrial technology innovation alliance is an important driving force to pro- mote the development of the alliance. This paper conducts a systematic analysis of the relevant elements in various stages of the knowledge transfer and it finds ： government policy support and market mechanism are the external ob- jective factors; knowledge innovation capability, transfer willingness and transfer skill of the knowledge transferor are the fundamental factors; learning intention, digestive ability and application effect of the knowledge transfer re- ceiver are the active factors; and the interaction among government departments, knowledge transferor, receiver and social intermediary is the coupling factor in enhancing the effectiveness of the knowledge transfer.
