Using the system coupling theory, the paper built coupling coordination degree model to the level of coordinated development of urbanization and industrialization in Henan Province from 2001 to 2010, and tested the factors affecting the coupling coordination degree. The results show that： Urban- ization and industrialization coupled coordination degree is low at the primary level of coordination; There are some differences in coupling coordination degree around the city; The coupling coordination degree is decreasing in turn in Zhongyuan City Cluster, Northern Henan, Western Henan, and Huang Huai Area.
