New challenges including ubiquitous intellectual, cartier diversity, and context awareness of personalized information serv- ices in ubiquitous environment are summed up based on the analysis of the definition of ubiquitous environment. Then the current relat- ed researches of personalized information services in ubiquitous environment are listed and analyzed. Finally, trends and content of re- searches on personalized information service in future ubiquitous environment, especially in information resources organization, user needs analysis and information service system construction, are analyzed and predicted following the key processes of information serv- ices.
