随着改革开放以来城市化的推进，我国城市的规模正在不断地扩大，在经济增长的同时，环境恶化、城市病等问题也层出不穷，这引起了社会各界的高度关注，学术界对经济发展的质量越来越重视。本文试图从经济发展质量的内涵、城市经济发展质量指标体系以及城市经济发展质量评价方法三个方面对国内外学者们的研究进行综述，并在此基础上得出相关结论及展望。

With the advancing of urbanization since the reform and opening up of China ,the scale of cities is expanding constantly .However ,the problems of environmental degradation ,urban disease and others are emerging endlessly ,w hich have attracted attention from all sectors of the society ,and the economic develop-ment quality has been paid greater emphasis .This paper attempts to summary relevant researches on eco-nomic development quality at home and abroad from the following aspects ：the connotation of economic de-velop quality ,the index system of urban economic development quality and the evaluating method of it .T hen the conclusion and outlooks are obtained on the basis of previous discussions .
