With the increasing growth of data parallel applications, divisible job scheduling problem has been on the new focus of parallel scheduling area. Author reviewed the basic model and its important extension studies in recent years, and provided applications which demonstrate the power of DIS. Finally, it prospects the direction of divisible load scheduling in the future.
