Wideband coherent signal-subspace method （CSM） is an important algorithm in wideband DOA estimation. One of the shortcomings of CSM is that CSM is sensitive to the preliminary DOA estimation that used in the algorithm. Many problems that occurred in realization of the high resolution algorithms are solved by beam-space method, such as computation burden, SNR threshold and model error. The beam-space method and CSM are combined to wideband DOA estimation. The SNR threshold of the beam-space wideband DOA estimation algorithm is descended. The new method is computation efficient. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the method.
