根据阵列采样获得的宽带信号带宽内各个频点的协方差矩阵进行特征值分解得到的信号子空间,提出了一种新的宽带聚焦DOA估计方法。直观地根据各个频点的信号子空间来构造聚焦矩阵,推导了最佳聚焦信号子空间。对新方法的性能分析表明,该方法的性能与双边变换(TCT)方法相同,并给出了证明。构造聚焦矩阵时新方法所用的矩阵维数小于TCT方法,因此新方法运算量小于TCT方法。仿真结果证明了算法的有效性。
A new direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation algorithm for wideband sources is introduced. The method is based on the eigenvalue decomposition of the cross correlation of every frequency in the signal bandwidth received by the antenna array. The focusing matrix is formed on the signal subspace of every frequency in the signal bandwidth. The optimum focusing signal subspace is derived. That the performance of the new method is the same as that of two-sided correlation transformation (TCT) algorithm is certified. Due to smaller dimension of the matrix used in the focusing matrix, the new method reduces the computational load compared with the TCT algorithm. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the new method.
