The EEG change of volunteers before and after acute moderate alcohol consumption was analyzed, and the effect of acute moderate alcohol consumption on human health was studied. All of the test system was set up based on the Neuroscan electroencephalograph. Real-time EEG data of volunteers were gathered before acute moderate alcohol consumption and two hours after drinking. After the artifact was removed with the software of Curry7, the EEG feature waves were extracted and the relative power of relevant EEG parameters were calculated with the method of wavelet transform by the software of Matlab. The power of each spectrum (α, β, θ) undergoes changes of different degree before and after acute moderate alcohol consumption, especially at low frequency(θ), and a peak arises after drinking for an hour. The change of the fatigue factor R calculated by the power spectrum values is the same as that of the θ wave. The instantaneous change of brain fatigue does not occur before and after acute moderate alcohol consumption. After acute moderate alcohol consumption, brain fatigue rises slowly over time, the peak occurs in an hour after drinking, then gradually decreases and finally returns to normal two hours later.
