针对BitTorent文件共享过程的特点,根据乐观疏通的思想,利用仿真实验分析了free riders对系统中其他类型的peers的下载进程的影响,给出了识别free riders的方法,提出了解决free riders问题的机制,并进行了仿真实验。结果表明:这种解决free riders问题的机制更好地激励了系统中的peers为系统做出贡献,从而获得利益;有效地控制了Bit-Torrent系统中的free riders,提高了系统的整体性能。
In view of the characteristics of the download process of BitTorrent and the idea of optimistic unchoking, the effect of free riders which contribute nothing or little to the P2P system but obtain resources from the system on the download process of different kinds of peers was analyzed through the simulation experiment, and a way of judging the free riders was presented, and then the mechanism on controlling the free riders was proposed. The experimental results demonstrate that this mechanism further stimulate the peers to try their best to contribute to the BitTorrent system, and gain more benefits. It controls the free riders effectively, and improves the whole performance of the BitTorrent system.
