Authentication codes with arbitration protect against deception from the transmitter, from the receiver as well as from the opponent.A new construction of authentication codes from singular unitary geometry over finite fields is presented and the parameters of the codes are computed. Under the assumption that the encoding rules of the transmitter and the receiver are chosen according to a uniform probability distribution,the probabilities of success for different types of deceptions are also computed.
