Under the background of Shenzhen establishing a national transport barrier-free city, firstlythe barrier-free transport characteristics in the city and the main beneficiary groups trip demands areanalyzed, development and evolution process of barrier-free concept is summarized. A master plan systemfor barrier-free public transport is developed under the guidance of the overall conceptual framework,including regular public transport system, rail transport and hub, bus accessible guide system, thebarrier-free taxi system, slow traffic environment and public transport barrier-free identification system,etc. Public transport barrier-free system planning obiectives and development strategies are determined onthe macro level~ Shenzhen Public transport barrier-free system planning guidelines are developed from themeso level, all levels barrier-free facilities elements of public transport are systematically integrated,complete and systematic barrier-free public transportation system is formed; appropriate technical designguidelines for Shenzhen are put forward combining with the actual situation of Shenzhen from the microlevel, as the management basis of collaborative implementation.
