After analyzing the methods commonly used in determining the analysis area forecasting traffic-count the traffic was used to distribution, the correlation coefficient model based and on forecast the trip distribution in the process of traffic impact analysis（TIA）.At the same time, an application of using it as a relatively objective tool to confine the analyzing area in TIA was put forward; Then, an example was given to clarify how to use this model in TIA;Finally, the merits were concluded from the application.
