Social support system has played an important role in relieving stress and improving the quality of life for patients with AIDS. The social support system for patients with AIDS in China was studied with SWOT analysis,which internal strengths, internal weaknesses, external opportunities and external threats were clarified. Based on which, suggestions to improve the social support system were put forward.
