以Fenton试剂作为含高浓度硝基苯的石化废水的前处理方法,在pH=3.0p0(H2O2)=500mg/L,p(H202)/p(Fe^2+)=6,反应时间150min条件下,废水中的硝基苯得到有效去除,其生化性得到较大的改善,BODs/CODCr值从最初的0.03提高到0.47。氧化还原电位(ORP)对Fenton氧化过程有很好的指示作用。当ORP达到最大值时,表明体系中H202完全消失;当ORP随后出现最低点时,表明Fenton氧化作用完全结束。研究还发现,H202在体系中消失后,废水的可生化性还在提高,这表明该体系中还有其他氧化物种的存在。
Pre-treatment using Fenton oxidation of nitrobenzene (NB)-bearing wastewater from dye manufacturing has been studied with the objective of removing NB and related aromatic compounds, and thereby improving the biodegradability of the wastewater. Under the conditions of initial pH value of 3, concentration of H202 of 500 rag/L, weight ratio of H202 to Fe2+ of 6, and reaction time of 150 rain, NB was almost completely transformed, and the ratio of BOD to COD was increased from 0.03 to 0.47. The redox potential (ORP) was found to be an effective indicator to monitor the Fenton oxidation process. H202 was almost depleted at the point where the ORP reached the maximal value, and minimum ORP value corresponded to the completion of Fenton oxidation. The increase in biodegradability continued for about 60 min after the depletion of H2O2, suggesting the presence of an unknown oxidizing species.
