按照添加等量硼元素的原则,在粉末冶金铁基触媒中加入不同的含硼化合物(硼铁、碳化硼和六方氮化硼),在六面顶压机上进行金刚石合成试验。对合成出的含硼金刚石单晶进行表面形貌、磁化率、冲击韧性以及热重等综合质量对比。结果表明,不同的硼源会相应影响金刚石的生长区间,并进而直接影响金刚石晶体的质量及其主要性能。以六方氮化硼为硼源,可以实现对金刚石的硼、氮复合掺杂,合成出的金刚石晶体质量较高,性能较为优异。碳化硼次之,而用硼铁合成的金刚石晶体因杂质较多,导致质量和力学性能降低,合成效果较差。
Ⅱb type diamond was synthesized at a cubic press under high pressure and high temperature with powder metallurgical iron - based catalysts added by different content of boron - doped compounds, such as boron - iron alloy ( FeB), boron carbides (B4C) and hexagonal boron nitrides (h -BN), according to a rule of equivalent boron content. The experimental results showed that Ⅱb type diamond single crystals can be synthesized with, but the synthesizing effects with were not similar according to the studies and analysis of surface morphology, magnetization, impact toughness, thermal gravity, et al. H - BN is the best because of the boron and nitrogen doping into diamond crystal at the same time. The B4C is medium and FeB is the worst because it leads to more impurities which deteriorate the quality of synthetic diamond.
