Environmental pollution problems restricting its benign development in the mountains in southeastern Jilin province urbanization is widespread to control the construction of resource depletion. Promoting the ecological constrnction of urbanization is an effective way to solve the problem. Based on system analysis in applying the SWOT model of urbanization in the mountains of southeast of Jilin province to promote the ecological advantages, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. From market leading with government, scientific and technological innovation leading the ecological urbanization, strengthening the ecological urbanization industrial supporting ability, improve the urban and rural residents living environment, etc, it make the ecological urbanization development strategy. And then it provide decision basis for the mountains in southeastern Jilin province to promote the ecological urbanization.
