From the perspective of the sustainable development and planning of public transport,based on the summary of all the bus operating indexes,the paper selected the key indicators which can reflect bus operating scale to establish the index system of the bus operating scale for planning.And then,the paper makes full use of AHP to assess the indicators＇ corresponding weight in the index system.At a result,it can provide a reliable basis for bus planners to determine the bus operation size and to make its action plan.
