广东高州普通野生稻具有丰富的遗传多样性，是水稻育种的宝贵资源。本文就近几年来有关高州普通野生稻遗传多样性、生殖特性、有利基因发掘与利用等方面的研究进行综述，并提出进一步研究的设想。
英文摘要：
There is high genetic diversity in Oryza rufipogon Griff. indigenous to Gaozhou, Guangdong. This wild rice is a very important genetic resource for rice breeding. The advances of study on the genetic diversity, reproduction, mining and utilization of elite genes, were reviewed. Further studies were also proposed in this paper.
