The evolution of the regional road network is the regional highway network planning and layout of the foundation. This paper takes the highway network in Zhengzhou City as the study object, discusses the reasonable scale of the regional highway network and its development rules and concludes that in terms of geographical patterns, the change rule of Zhengzhon highway network turns out to be a process of isolated Trail Road-Tree Network-Mesh Network-Mesh Network ＋ radiation, from the junior to senior.
