新型工业化道路要求制造业的发展必须以人为本、科技创新、环境友好、面向未来。作为中部的重要制造业集聚区，湖北省制造业近年来发展迅速，成为拉动湖北经济增长的重要力量，但其持续发展也面临着科技、资源、环境等条件的约束。以四维的新型制造业评价指标入手，对湖北制造业的经济创造、科技创新、资源节约、环境保护等能力进行测度，以便为构筑新型化的制造业发展路径提供依据。
英文摘要：
Based on the 4-D evaluation system of new-concept manufacturing, we have evaluated the economy creation, technology innovation, environment protection ability of Hubei Province. Finally, characters and patterns of regional manufacturing industry development are concluded by the way of comparison analysis.
