A series of 3-(substituted phenoxymethyl)-6-chloropyridazine derivatives were synthesized as herbicide candidates by the treatment of different phenols with 3-chloro-6-methylpyridazine in DMF catalyzed by K2CO3. The new compounds were identified by 1H NMR, IR spectra and elemental analyses. Preliminary bioassay showed that all of them had herbicidal activity against Brassica napus and Echinochloa crusgalli at 100 μg·mL^-1. The structure-activity relationship was discussed.
