英文摘要：

Yingzaofashi （Biulding Standards） of Song Dynasty was regarded as a sealed book by scholars because of its complexity. Although the interpretation of its context is quite difficult, it is the foundation for further studies. Through reviewing historical studies of Yingzaofashi and analyzing the book＇s terminology, this paper summarizes the objectives, methods and achievements of previous work, and further points out prominent historic events and subjects to highlight particular methodologies for researching this book. The present work contributes to the further understanding of Yingzaofashi.
