The correlation between the degree of confidence and the reliability of CEP radius is studied. On the basis of standardized CEP evaluation method of ship INS, the reliability of CEP radius is defined and investigated. The Simulation analysis is conducted according to the measured data and its statistical distribution from INS. The simulation results show that the reliability of CEP index obtained from the measured data reflects the relevant degree of confidence very well, but that index obtained from the statistical distribution of data does not reflect the relevant degree of confidence.
