针对旧微机原理实验系统ISA接口和新计算机无ISA插槽的矛盾,介绍了一种基于FPGA的ISA总线扩展的设计和实现方案。该系统以Altera公司的Cyclone II系列FPGA EP2C35F484C8为控制核心,利用USB接口扩展ISA总线,使不具有ISA总线的新型计算机也能和现有的实验箱进行通信。提出的方案既能实现新计算机与旧微机原理实验箱的通信,满足学生做实验的要求,又能完成USB总线到ISA总线的扩展,具有一定的推广价值。
In view of the contradiction between the old microcomputer principle experiment system of ISA interface and new computer without ISA slot,this paper introduces a design and implementation scheme of the extended FPGA based on ISA bus. With Altera company's Cyclone II series FPGA EP2C35F484C8 as its control core together with USB interface to extend ISA bus,this system makes the new computer which does not have ISA bus can also communicate existing with experimental box. The scheme proposed in this paper can not only realize the communication of new computer with old microcomputer principle experiment box to meet the requirements of students to do experiment,but also can complete the extension from USB bus to the ISA bus,which makes it has certain value of popularization.
