Graphene oxide( GO) is an excellent novel carbon materials with high surface area and rich functional groups. An efficient GO-catalyzed hydration of alkynes to synthesis of ketones has been developed. 1,2-Dichloroethane was used as solvent. We also optimized the reaction conditions and proposed the possible mechanisms.
