近年来，夏季森林火灾有愈演愈烈的趋势，特别是2007年夏季的希腊大火惊动了整个世界。尽管“以人为本”已经成为森林火灾扑救组织和指挥的行为准则，各地重视程度提高，投入加大，但最近几年伤亡事故却逐年上升，矛盾的焦点直指夏季森林火灾这一新的不容忽视的森林火灾类型。本文在综述了国内外夏季森林火灾发生的基础上，指出夏季森林火灾的发生具有以下几个趋势：（1）由高纬度向低纬度扩展；（2）森林火灾的发生已经贯穿整个夏季；（3）火烧持续时间延长，过火面积增加；（4）雷击火源比重加大、分布区域变广；（5）难控性和扑救的危险性增大。针对以上趋势，提出了防范夏季森林火灾的技术措施。

英文摘要：

In recent years, there is a tendency that more and more forest fires occur in summer. Especially, the summer forest fires of 2007 in Greece astonished the whole world.The injury and mortality rate has recently increased although the People-oriented Policy has become one of the most important principles in the forest fire fighting and commanding, and a lot of efforts and investment have been devoted into the forest fire management. Forest fires in summer, the new type of forest fires, turns to be the focus of concern. The summer forest fires are reviewed in this paper. And the trend of its development is analysed, （1） it expands from the high latitude areas to low latitude areas;（2）it goes through the whole summer;（3） the time and the area of its combustion increase; （4）the proportion and the distribution of lightning fires increase; （5） the difficulty to control and the danger to fight the fires increase. Furthermore,the control and prevention measures of the summer forest fires are proposed.
