英文摘要：

Panhu culture,exclusive to Miao Autonomous County of Mayang,is one of the well preserved and complete primitive religious cultures of China. It has plenty of contents, touching upon a lot of areas like mythological legends, totem worship and production, life, rituals and festivals and taking on manifest characteristics. They are pristine and heavy,peculiar in form. What＇s more,they have multiple blending and local features. By applying certain theories from multiple subjects into the exploration and analysis, we find that Panhu culture not only has the social functions of messaging, preaching and entertaining, but also bears the value of research and exploration on facets like history, culture, science, society, ethic and tourism.
