近十几年来，人口增长、建成区快速扩张以及经济发展使交通需求迅猛增加，导致我国许多大城市现有的客运站从布局和功能上都不能适应新的需求．对客运站布局模式对城市交通系统的影响进行了一定的理论分析．结合武汉市的空间发展，对现状及规划客运站点分布进行了分析评价．利用地理信息系统（GIS）的空间分析功能对新旧客运站点布局的出行效率进行了定量评估．同时，本文对实施该方案所面临的关键问题进行了一定的分析和探讨．
英文摘要：
In recent years, with population increase, fast urban expansion and growing transport demand, the intercity passenger transportation stations have become inconsistent in terms of both location and functionality. A theoretical analysis of station distribution and its impact on urban transportation system is carried out. The problems of current locations are discussed and a relocation plan is presented. A quantitative comparison between the two sets of distribution is made with the spatial functionality in Geographical Information System （GIS）. Challenges in implementing the relocation plan have been discussed.
