The double-bounded dichotomous contiongent valuation model（CVM） is used to study farmers＇ affordability for water price reform. Heigangkou Irrigation Area in Kaifeng City is taken as an example to analyze and verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the method. The results indicate that the model is accurate and reliabile with narrow confidence interval and good fitting effect and is suitable for research on farmers＇ affordability of water price reform.
