The pyrochlore phase KTaO3 nanomaterials with the octahedral morphologies and uniform size distribution were synthesized by the hydrothermal synthesis method.The blue-green light emission peaks located at 437 nm,490 nm and 569 nm were observed for KTaO3 nanomaterials at room temperature.The emission peak of 437 nm may be related to the combination of the bound exciton,while the peak of 490 nm is related to the radiative recombination of the donor-acceptor pair,which have the thermal quenching activation energy of 375 meV and 511 meV,respectively.
