Cloud computing is a research area with many hot research topics, which is widely concerned in recent years. Cloud computing integrates the technology of parallel computing, distributed computing, query processing and optimization and etc. , and provides significant application perspective. Query processing and optimization is an essential and important operation in cloud systems, which is widely concerned by researchers, and there are also large amounts of research work on cloud query processing. This paper introduces and summarizes the research work on system, data management and query processing in cloud computing systems. This paper discusses the existing solutions and the possible future work, and provides with plenty of references.
