本文概括报告北京外国语大学英语学院英语专业课程改革与教师发展之间良性互动机制构建的理论、策略与实践。对过去几年的实践考察表明,课程改革与教师发展之间存在良性互动关系:前者作为社会文化中介工具调节、影响着后者,后者作为实现前者目标的基础,也会反过来调节、影响前者。二者的辩证互动既推动了课程改革的进程,也激发了教师队伍成长的内在生命力,彰显了教师发展的现实意义,从而更有效地推动教师持续性发展。
This paper reports on the philosophy, strategies and practical efforts in constructing positive interactions between English-major curriculum transformation and teacher develop- ment at School of English and International Studies, Beijing For- eign Studies University in the past few years. The examination of the sustained efforts suggests that positive interactions exist between the curriculum transformation and teacher develop- ment:The former mediates the latter as a sociocultural mediator while the latter mediates the former in return as the foundation for achieving its goal. Such dialectical interactions not only en- hance the process of curriculum transformation but also highlight the realistic value of teacher development thus inspiring the teachers to further develop vigorously and sustainably.
