新颖型商业模式创新是当今的热点问题。然而,既有的文献尚未充分揭示新颖型商业模式创新与企业绩效之间的关系机制。吸纳创业领域有关决策逻辑的分析框架,以200多家珠三角创新型企业为研究对象,考察新颖型商业模式创新与绩效间的关系,以及效果推理、因果推理这2种决策逻辑在其中的作用。研究发现:新颖型商业模式创新对绩效有直接的正向促进作用;效果推理逻辑正向地调节了新颖型商业模式创新与组织绩效间的关系;与因果推理逻辑相比,效果推理的调节作用更为显著。结论有助于理解商业模式创新价值增值的内部机制,以及为何效果逻辑理念成为新颖性商业模式创新成功的助推器。
Novelty-centered business model innovation is a hot issue today. However, the existing literature has not yet fully revealed the mechanism of how business model innovation affects firm performance. Utilizing the decision- making logic analytical framework from field of entrepreneurship research and a sample of more than 200 innovative firms in Pearl Delta, this research examined the relationship between novelty- centered business models innovation and performance, as well as the moderating effect of decision logics including effectuation and causation. The study found:(1) A novelty-centered business model innovation has a direct and positive role in promoting firm performance.(2) Decision logic of effectuation positively moderates the main effect between novelty-centered business model innovation and firm performance.(3) Compared to causation, effectuation has stronger moderating effect on main effect. Our conclusion helps to understand the internal value-added mechanisms of business model innovation, and why effectuation logic becomes a booster to successful business model innovation.
