A new bistriorganotin （IV） heterocyclicdicarboxylate { [-Ph3Sn （2,3-pdz）SnPh3]2 （H2O） } was synthesized by the reaction of bistriorganotin （ IV ） oxide with 2, 3-Hzpdz （ pdz = pyrazinedicarboxylate）. Complex has been characterized by elemental,IR,^1H NMR analyses and X-ray crystallographic diffraction analyses. This complex has a 1D supramolecular structure due to the coordinated water molecules via hydrogen bonds to the nitrogen atoms of the pyrazine groups.
