Low-power linearity transformer and transmission line transformer are the two realization ways of ra- dio broadband transformer. Based on the tradition transformer theory and the transmission line theory, the factors affecting the transformer＇s frequency response curve are analyzed in this paper. An universal method of designing the radio broadband transformer is proposed to make and testify the two kinds transformer. Some useful methods of improving the component function are obtained by analyzing and comparing the test results.
