Carbon nanotubes(CNTs), as anode materials for lithium-ion batteries, their performances were studied with cyclic voltammetry and charging-discharge experiments. The results showed that CNTs had high lithium storage capacity as anode. Its initial discharge specific capacity was 560mAh/g but its first irreversible capacity loss were also found high at 430mAh/g.
