The data generally store at multiple data sources, so local mining patterns from multiple data sources for decision-making at different levels are a hot topic in the field of data mining. Firstly, the research progress of multiple data sources mining methods is introduced. Then, data source classifica- tion, various mining patterns, local patterns synthesis and so on are analyzed. Finally, the future re- search direction of multiple data sources mining is given.
