Compaction of the morula, which involves the establishment of the first intimate cell- to-cell contacts in the embryo, is one of key stage in embryo development, contributed to the embryo quality. It was found that in vitro culture （IVC） embryos revealed different compacting process compared with in vivo embryos. The genes relate to compaction, including Cx43, Cx31 and E-cad etc, play important role in embryo early development.
