A approach for synchronizing pairs of unidirectional coupled excitable media with spatiotemporally chaotic dynamics is introduced. We show that complete synchronization can be achieved with suitable coupling strength. Then we propose a method of spatiotemporal chaos control in excitable media by applying complete synchronization method.
