As one of mixed electronic-ionic conductors, LSCF (La1-xSrxCo1-yFeyO3-δ)) has been widely used as cathode material of IT-SOFC (intermediate temperature solid oxide fuel cell) for its outstanding catalytic activity, lower polarization resistance and low raw material cost, especially for the composition of La0.6Sr0.4Co0.2Fe0.8O3-δ(LSCF-6428). LSCF-6428 power was prepared at 700 ℃ by a route of chelating-combustion where citric acid was used as chelating agent and fuel. By virtue of increasing heating rate of LSCF precursor calcination, the LSCF-6428 with pure cubic perovskite phase was successfully synthesized as well as without any impurity phases, such as Sr2FeO4.
