Ionic liquid is environmentally friendly as an alternative to organic solvents during extraction, which has some unique physical and chemical properties. This paper studies the extraction of the doxazosin mesylate in aqueous phase using 1-octyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate （[Omim]BF4） as extraction solvent. The method is simple, rapid, inexpensive, sensitivity and reliable. Under optimized conditions, the fluorescence intensity of doxazosin mesylate is proportional to the concentration in the range of 0.01 ng/mL-172 ng/ mL,and the detection limit is 0.0032 ng/mL. Therefore,an efficient fluorescence spectrophotometry method for the determination of doxazosin mesylate is established.
