In this paper, the composite particles consisting of cores of nano calcium carbonate and shells of polymer were prepared by soapless emulsion polymerization technology with nano calcium carbonate particles as templates. After dissolution with acid, the polymer hollow sphere was obtained. The preparation mechanism, especially the effects of pH, was analyzed.
